Over 25 years ago Barbara L. Walker passed away leaving behind a tremendous legacy, including her enormous collection of artwork - paintings and sculptures, with several pieces included in Woodmere Art Museum's, (Philadelphia, PA), permanent collection.
We, her family, friends, and collectors have come to realize that her work, though well known to us and the Philadelphia art community, may not be known elsewhere. We felt obliged to create this website (launched in December 2017) in an effort to share her story and body of work, enabling internet searches, discovery and rediscovery.
Presently, only a portion of her work is reflected on these pages. We hope to add more as time allows.
We hope you will enjoy and share Barbara L. Walker's legacy and art.
